Hit a home run with the entire family at the Negro Southern League Museum‘s 2023 Jackie Robinson Day Street Festival on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.!* Enjoy meeting and getting autographs from legendary negro league players while catching monologue portrayals of the greats, such as Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige.

This event is in continued partnership with V94.9 FM, Birmingham Parks and Recreation and The Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services, while the Birmingham Urban League will sponsor the Jackie Robinson Black & Bling Jazz with Jackie private VIP reception taking place on Friday, April 14, 2023.

Leave no baseball mound untouched when you explore a plethora of fun activities on the street festival stages that include performances from some of Birmingham’s artists, jump houses, a kids’ corner, an appearance by NSLM Mascot, Barry the Bear, food trucks, vendors, family-friendly fitness activities, and more!
